How to get your HAZMAT Endorsement ?

CDL prep app helped me. Same practice questions are on the test. Every endorsement you want/need it’s on there.

Long story short;
Step 1) Complete the through the TSA
Step 2) Complete the HazMat-ELDT* certification (*Entry Level Driver Training)
Step 3) Go to the DMV, pay the Endorsement-fee, and take the HazMat-endorsement test

I got questions-
1.) How long did it take from the initial start of your fingerprint til TSA cleared you? (Some folks have said that it took up to 6 months to be cleared)
2.) The steps you mentioned; so you're saying that i can do the TSA fingerprinting first, wait to get cleared, THEN go take the questionnaire at the DMV?

I paid $86.00 for my finger prints. I paid $69.00 for the ELDT class and $5.00 for the endorsement at the DMV

I have an X endorsement. Need to renew my DL. Do you have to take both the tanker and hazmat tests? And what is the correct procedure? Get fingerprints done/TSA check, then take the ELDT course, pass it then go to the DMV and take the HM test? Do you have to take the tanker test again too? I also have a TWIC card that expires 5 months from now. My DL expires in March and my TWIC/Hazmat expires in July. Wanted to do all of this at the same time so I don’t have to take additional days off later.

Warning, C1 website does not work in washington. The test can only be done at the Washington DMV.
