Subaru copying Lamborghini? - #shorts

During our recent Subaru WRX comparison with the Elantra N, Paul took a minute to discuss the WRX styling, cladding, and a link to Lamborghini.

Rally cars don't have black plastic cladding. Only lame crossovers have this stupid cladding

...and the triangular theme on the rear bumper is from Hyundai. it might be possible Subaru paid homage to Lamborghini in the arch design, but I think it's more of the direction Subaru's other off-roady cars have going on w/their cladding design. I think it needs to stop...unless they use that cladding to artificially add width to the fender for more of a wide(er) body like Dodge did to their charger/challenger twins. increase track width through the flares....

if you think the wheel arches is inspired from the Urus, clearly you haven't seen the Subaru XV or Forester. 🙄

Too bad there's no STI model... I'm buying a CT4 Blackwing instead.

The painted areas are the soft and doughy shapes, while the sharp edges and aggressive/sporty elements exist in the black molded areas. That gives the visual effect of shame--"we made a sporty car, but you must squint and look closely to notice."

For me it's the black plastic more than the fender design. It just looks unfinished to me

Hate it so much, give me old subaru. I owned a 2005, 2010, and 13 hatch. Anything beyond a 14 doesn't look good.
