Listening to this as a Medical Lab Scientist working in a hospital lab, my first and foremost thought is "This is why you fully staff hospitals, folks. Equipment fails. People are dependable."
(The lab I work in has been SEVERELY understaffed since the higher ups laid off a bunch of people during covid like absolute morons, and blew the entire budget on "rebranding". I completely relate to the frazzled medical staff in this scp)

Really hyped for part 2. I love SCPs that are analogous to real world problems and this really scratches that itch. Everything from governmental underfunding, to drug addiction, to neglect from doctors and the neglect of doctors by administration is covered and it's very exciting

Man this hits home lol. I'm a EMT CommSpec at my state center for emergency services and the state hospital and our entire program just got downsized for budget cuts. We had the states only pediatric and neonatal transport trucks, they cut half the staff and consolidated both into one. Our personnel in MedCom got slashed too, and not to mention all the layoffs in the actual hospital proper. The only thing not slashed yet are is helicopter EMS

It never got better after covid made it "okay" to force more and more work for the same pay on people.

No wonder people keep quitting. The sad thing is it's cyclical and just makes you want to quit more.

These care facilities are run as of profit business and it makes me sick.

The only people who suffer are the patients and the providers, not the higher ups making bank.
