Lets be honest, for most devices you just need a new cable, not a dongle.
And for the other cases, get an USB adapter that also provides a SD card slot. It's not that big of a deal.
And you'll gain a portable machine with 2TB of super fast SSD storage that can connect to two 5K screens at home. This is what I wanted to work like for a long time and this MBP finally supports that!

I wish Apple would stop pretending that they are what they were when Steve Jobs was alive, they just aren't that company anymore. Now they're about refinement, not revolution. That alongside 'courageous' money grabbing gimmicks...

It's a beauty but not a beast. It's slower in performance that last year's Pro. Buy if you want to show off and spend extra money on dongles.

The biggest flaw is the price. Its outlandish to start at $1800 for a 13'' laptop in 2016 (touchbar model). I'll hold onto my 2015 15'' MacBook Pro. It's also missing some awesome features- magsafe is a big deal, the glowing apple logo (iconic IMO), and obviously the ports. Just a let down. Great computer nonetheless but I think its overpriced by about $400 frankly across the entire range.
