MASTERING WITH WAVES IN PRO TOOLS 11

In this video tutorial I show how to setup a mastering session in Pro Tools 11 utilizing Waves plugins from their Gold Bundle. I cover how to "Bounce to Disk" as well as how to setup a Print Track for file export.

People are saying it's a high master or bright but I think it's because while I was watching this video I noticed on Vitamin you forgot to take off the bypass on the low frequency. But great video I still learned a lot from you.

Just a suggestion it may help to explain a little more of your use on the C4. Why you chose the cross over points why your choosing to adjust the Range at those threshold points and what is it doing. Just a thought.

Thanks for the free education.I've mixed our album.and learned how to use pro tools at the same time.Quite a learning curve.I am an experienced sound engineer .so having some fun.My question and I will e-mail you as well . Is I wanted to see the final wav.at the print track.I know i saw levels.but I'm using pt11 and have clip issues while trying to get my print maxed.and of course keeping our image of what we think each should sound like. Thanks if you can answer if possible.

Do you always keep your pre-mastering levels on your track at -10, regardless of the music genre you're playing?

Exporting apparently applies the old dither by default, so it's not the really best way to export the audio. How do you guys export the print?

this is great....never been taught how to master so im goin to practice thanks...is it possible for me to send you my final it would be cool if you show how make vocals sit on a beat properly...artist nowadays want youtube beats and when i get them... they have compression on it already so maybe you show me how you would work that
