TIP; Burst mode, when I know an event is going to happen at a particular location, like a bird leaving a perch, or a lightning strike, I take a burst mode photo and just hold the volume up button until the event happens, then release. When I go to select the photo I want, I know it will be toward the end of the series. The phone will take up to 999 photos before stopping. I simply start another burst until I get what I want. The unneeded photos are easy to delete. This is actually easier to do on the phone than it is on an expensive camera.

I wish you did a series on iPhone photography. This was very helpful, and sorry there aren’t more.

I love your videos. They are granular and really dig deep into settings. I always get something from them.

Normally I just figure things out, but this video was excellent! I use to think the Live mode was the most annoying and useless thing about the camera, and had no idea you could use it in the way you described. Portrait mode was another one I rarely use, until now, that is! Thank you very much for this, it was quite informative!!

Thank you, again! I am an amateur photographer and have three DSLR cameras. However, I had no idea of the features of the "camera I always have with me." Looking forward to trying some of these out soon.

This is the best iPhone related channel out there, it oozes professionalism. The videos are slick and the information is rich, clear and concise unlike many other Apple related channels.

For a while you used to put the steps you took off to the left in their own box. That was helpful for people like me who need a few seconds to process what you are telling us to do. Did people object to that or did you stop because it was not worth the effort? I just wanted to add my two cents that it was very helpful.

This was absolutely one of your best videos. 100% useful information. Thank you so very much. And congratulations on the twins.

Excellent Being an avid DSLR photographer I've only looked at my iPhone as a point and shoot. Wow. talk about having one's eyes opened up. Excellent presentation with clear and helpful explanations. Awesome job. Thanks so much

A really nice presentation, as always. While I will not remember all the things you've taught, what you've done is expose me to all these ideas and given great clues about where to find them and even find more features.

Thanks for what you do. This old COBOL programmer really appreciates it.

Saw PP&M at the Hollywood Bowl in 1969. One of my favorite concerts! My guitar playing was really influenced by them.

One of the best tips is to actually clean the lens with a microfiber cloth before using it.
