Benjamin Netanyahu's time as Israeli prime minister could soon be over
Показать описание
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s time in the top job may be coming to an end as far-right party leader Naftali Bennett has thrown his support behind a "unity government" to unseat the Prime Minister.
Mr Bennett struck a deal with Opposition Leader Yair Lapid to form a coalition of rightwing, centrist, and leftwing parties and handed Mr Netanyahu his first election defeat since 1999.
The coalition could see the pair serving a two year stint each as prime minister in a rotation agreement.
