Dorothy Vaughn..now that is a TRUE supervisor. She did her job and trained her staff so they could do it too, which helped back up her claim of taking them with her.

Glad to see Dorothy didn’t sell out on her girls & took them with her. Loved the way they all walked on like that

I got chills when they walked down the hall.

Such an amazing scene.
She is a born people manager without being appointed as one officially at that time.
Standing up for her colleagues like that.
Most of the people I know (work-related) would have just accepted the reassignment for themselves and left, not caring a bit about the others.

I know this might be a very minor thing, but I love their outfits, it’s so classy

As a red blooded male I can't watch a generation worth of female computer geniuses going by without being at least a little affected. Those were some beautiful women. Mrs Dorothy Vaughan walking at the head of her army of math wizards like a battle queen is just super attractive.

Aside from “Step aside, it’s our turn to shine, ” I’m not sure how to describe that hallway walk scene.

Some fans of this movie say Vivian was a racist character just like Paul. But I don’t know why. She never tried to bring them down in anyway or stop them for getting credit for their work unlike him. She was only following the rules she was given same as them and in this scene she gives all the other women the promotion they deserved.
