Why Ilona Maher Broke Down In Tears On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Ilona Maher and her partner Alan Bersten spoke to Access Hollywood on Tuesday night following their jive dance to “Cum On Feel the Noize” where they received some criticism by the judges. Ilona broke down in tears and became emotional over their performance. Ilona explained to Access Hollywood why it was a tough night for her, “It’s learning to give myself grace that I’m doing something so new and so this is something that’s so out of my comfort zone, I’m not a dancer, I think I just want to give it my all so I got very sad that it wasn’t I guess good enough, maybe.” “Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8/7 c on ABC.

I love Ilona. I think jive was a great dance for her. She just got off the beat and couldn't her mental focus back. The steps she did were fabulous. She clearly knew the choreography. I loved the dance. Ilona, you are a dancer and a beautiful dancer.
