I am Bengali and I am not great BJP fan but I can say for sure Mamta hasn't done much to solve the widespread problem of unemployment. After 2011 no new IT or manufacturing companies have been established in Bengal so far. Most of the people do not like BJP in Bengal but most of them are looking for alternative for Bengal other than TMC.

West bengal elections doesn't run on caste based alliances. They are highly secular state but didi crossed the limit with her minority appeasement politics. Now bengal has become battle ground for polarized politics. Owasis can also spilt her muslim votes like he did in bihar. Bjp is eyeing for hindu vote bank consolidation.
