I traveled in India four times from 1995 to 2002, including a three-month stay in 1996. I loved it every time. How about an update on the controversy about the Rigveda's dates and places of composition? Most historians think it was written around 1500-1200 BCE by people of Aryan descent immigrating into India from the Northwest. But a highly vocal minority claim that it was composed much earlier in India and claim that the majority opinion was propagated to justify Western imperialism. This is an emotional and fascinating issue, and it concerns one of the most influential and creative texts composed in human history. Please give us an update on this issue.

Just to say that this is 5000 years old and just buried beneath the soil waiting to be discovered. Once again proves that India is oldest surviving civilisation on the planet with 10000 to 20000 years of rich history, culture and knowledge.

I would like to inform the script writers about the excavation of Harappa and Mohanjodaro which was carried out by Indian Archeologist R D Banerjee and he was the man who found these ancient ruins. John Marshall never ever visited these sites as he resided at Shimla. Marshall wrote all the books on excavation on the detailed reports provided by Bannerjee and stole the credit of his discovery and implicated Bannerjee in false cases to keep him shut. Please highlight this theft of intellect and right duly. This point may be out context but it has been credited to Marshal in the beginning of this reports. Rectify if you can?

That's the importance of names. Harappa is a small village where first excavations were done by British and these guys are now calling the whole civilization Harappan culture. It's Bhartiya culture dude it's Bharath's civilization. How funny it would be if people start calling American culture as Houston culture or China as Chengdu culture.
