This is a new series we're calling, Getting Started. This is intended for our first semester students who come with a wide range of experiences. The topic today, measuring lateral runout of a wheel assembly. Vibration concerns are common place in the automotive industry. It's important for technicians getting started to acknowledge that there is more depth to wheel/tire vibrations beyond the tire/wheel balancing machine.
