Say Goodbye To The PS4

Today we'll be discussing the most recent news regarding the lifecycle of the PlayStation 4. There have been no official statements coming from Sony as to when the current generation of consoles will cease production, however, as of right now we have seen retailers sharing on the internet the news that they will no longer be selling multiple models of the PS4 claiming that this is situation is “due to the manufacturer ending production”.

As the PlayStation 5 remains to be one of the hardest pieces of technology to obtain in the market, ever since it came out on November 12 of last year, a lot of member of the gaming community have been outraged due to the ridiculously limited availability of the new system. Sony has commented on the subject reassuring that they will do everything in their power in order to get the console to the public “at a scale and pace that we’ve never delivered on before”. The discontinuation of the PS4 might just be first step that Sony's taking to manifest their words.
