It's been a long time coming and took us a while to get absolutely perfect and up to the Nicks standard, but our Munson-Inspired, Thurman lasts are here! In both Classic and Moderate arch configurations the Thurman last will give you the ultimate toe-box comfort letting your little toes run wild and free with all that space up in there.. Love it. I absolutely hate how most lasts intentionally push the big toe in. It's called clipping the big toe, and it's only done for aesthetic reasons, which is dumb because it actually deforms the foot and makes it so the foot can't work as God intended.

The most comfortable Last I ever tried and I love the shape too . I love the original WW2 US boots, every boots are Munson last except the boondockers . The repros are ok but don't have this particuliar angled interior outsoles that recreate these beautiful Nicks : BRAVO

Grant, the new last looks great. I am wanting to get that last in a steel toe for work, but can I customize an Albert Strider with a wedge sole? The website doesn’t seem to give me that option.

I find my HNW toe box perfectly wide as it is. It doesn't compress my toes on either side. That Munson looks good though, i could've gone with both

I work for the military and I love the history behind the Munson last.

Agreed on form following function as far as the munson. And something to remember about the military guys is that they also have to be able to carry 35-85 lb ruck sack on their back and your feet spread out a lot. So, we would also have guys get fitted for the boots with a little weit=ght on their back. Better to gave boots a but wide than a bit short . Boots will spread out a bit as they get broken in, but they will never get longer. And actually as they tend to curl up a bit when proken in, best to get them with at least a half inch of space in the toe...ar a thumb width distance.
