Given his cautious nature and experience, it's unlikely that Drizzt would willingly put himself in a situation where he could be easily trapped by hundreds of skeletons. He is known for being strategic and often avoids situations where he would be severely outnumbered or disadvantaged, especially by undead creatures like skeletons, which are more difficult to counter than living opponents.

Drizzt typically engages in battles with the living, particularly on the surface world, as he often opposes those who threaten the innocent or disrupt the balance of nature. His dark skin, a characteristic of his Drow heritage, indeed helps him blend into the shadows, and he uses this to his advantage rather than trying to lighten his skin.
