Black newspaper carrier says confrontation with Pierce County sheriff impacts him every day

To Ed Troyer: You followed your newspaper carrier, called your fellow officers, and filed a false police report against him solely because he is black. In fact, your fellow officers should've contacted their commanding officer. After that, you should be arrested for misuse of the 911 system, filing a false police report, and racial discrimination.

A man can't do his job without being harassed by some racist who may be posing as a police officer. You want to know why Black Men are mad..., here's one example. You can tell how upset the victim was when all those other cops showed up, when they could have been doing real police work. There are some obvious actions that should be taken for making a false report, faking a life threatening situation, abuse of police power and authority, and moving to remove racist from the police force. This incident was clearly malicious and the department needs to stop protecting these abusive cops!!!

IT DID!!
P.T.S.D. is real. While in some cases it can last for months or years, but then in millions of others it has lasted a lifetime. The fear that some men and women experience from the breathe of DEATH can become paralyzing for many.
While watching this video I found that the victims actions during the stop when he was yelling his innocence out of his window was Fear. Fear that his life will end in any moment from a hail of bullets. I commend the officer who was communicating with him during that extreme moment for recognizing that fact and deescating the scene. That was the "Good Cop" we all the time wonder who, and where they are. Well, for those of us who still have the humane ability to empathize you can thank whomever you worship that cool and calmer intelligence showed up that night.
But this young man is still visible shaking and scarred mentally from this altercation. When you have PTSD one of the most significant effects is constantly reliving the same event over and over and over and...
again and again. It is not a dream, it's not a nightmare for those of us who are and have suffered PTSD.
It is like you are right there At That Event Again. Only it feels as if your experiencing it for the first time. So the Fear that it manifest is EXTREMELY REAL for the people who go through this. It is only when they come back to present reality that they themselves realize it was only a replay of those terrible events. Every single thing about these events has a trigger pull over the individuals who suffer from PTSD.
The smell of a fire can trigger someone who survived a fire. Or the smell of water, smoke. The sound of a fire alarm, floor creaking, sirens, flashing lights, seeing a blanket, dog barking, a phrase or word. You can go on and on because it is different and difficult for all involved with the person who suffers from PTSD.
You can say to someone that just came out of a trance or what people call a flashback, most say to them, Hey my dear, it's over now, that was a long time ago. No. No it wasn't. For him or her...
IT JUST HAPPENED....
I'm not some doctor, or counselor who may be educated by books and teachers on this matter.
I only know because I too have PTSD every day is a struggle. And every day I fight. But unfortunately for far far to many. The reality of it all takes a real toll on the mind and body. Life and Death becomes the same thing.

He is fortunate to be alive. LAPD shot over 100 rounds into a truck with 2 woman in it delivering papers. Miraculously, they survived.
