The Jonas Brothers Officially Break Up -- DETAILS!

It's official! The Jonas brothers have called it quits. Okay, so it's the news we sort of saw coming, but prayed our instincts were wrong! Obviously over the past few weeks there have been rumors that things between the brothers weren't going so well, 'a deep rift' is how management put it. And then when they cancelled their tour, we started to panic even further. And finally confirming the news, Kevin Jonas told People Magazine "it's over for now." Nick Jonas added: "It's really hard to say 'forever, "We're closing a chapter, for sure."

And Joe continued by saying it was a 'unanimous decision', and "I was feeling kind of trapped," he said. "I needed to share my heart with my brothers."

Wow! So crazy and definitely an end of an era, for sure.

I was -- and still am -- an Aly & A.J./78violet fan (it's in my username), but I managed to ride through and respect the success of the JoBros in 2006-08 (I was an avid DC/Nick watcher at the time, but not anymore). I was really surprised they managed to stay close as a band for so...so...long. Thank you, JoBros!

Guys keep in mind that they can't really break up cuz they're actually brothers! Only their music career has come to an end not their name. Jonas brothers are forever together only their career as a group artist is finished. Not to mention they said its over FOR NOW! This means they possibly could get back together!
