🚨🚨 Incorrect keys of UHS

THE UHS PORTAL WILL BE OPEN FOR COMPLAINING REGARDING THE ISSUES IN THE KEY
The following were the mistakes in the key of UHS. Kindly report them:

CODE A
MCQs:

7 - SEVEN:
The answer selected by UHS is the chemical formula of chlorophyll b. However, it is not mentioned in the statement whether it is chlorophyll a or b.
(BIO Ptb, page 210, Class 11)

11 - ELEVEN:
The general formula of monosaccharides contains at least 3 to 7 carbon atoms. It should be Cn(H2O)n.
(Page 20, Bio Ptb, Class 11)

22 - TWENTY-TWO:
ADH is produced by the hypothalamus. This was not given in the options.
(Page 72, Bio Ptb, Class 12)

68 - SIXTY-EIGHT:
Chromosomes were first observed by Walther Flemming. This is out of the syllabus.
(Page 122, Bio Ptb, Class 12)

185 - ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FIVE:
Both A and B are correct. The comma used in a series or bulk of adjectives before "and" is called the Oxford comma. It is an optional comma used as per the preference of the writer.

SIR, Meri bass hogayi hai iss mulk say- SZABMU ka test aur conducting body students ke future ko mazzak samajh rahy hai- why do they have to play with us and make a fool of ourselves? they halready have a vast syllabus and still choose to give out of syllabus questions. EVERY SINGLE OUT OF SYLLABUS QUESTION MUST BE CANCELLED AND EVERY STUDENT MUST BE GIVEN GEACE MARKS- there is an extremely simple reason why MDCAT is conducted on a provincial level- agar Sindh ka mdcat hai toh sindh ki books use hni chahiye annd same goes for szabmu agar test le toh stick to federal books- doosray board ki nooks hi use karni hoty toh issay acha national mdcar lena tha secondly, WRONG KEYS MUST BE RECTIFIED AND OUR ANSWER SHEETS MUST NOT BE CHECKED ACCORDING TO THE WRONG KEYS ISSUED LAST NIGHT! we have our years of hard work and sacrifice as stake. our parents are asking results and we have no idea what to tell them, how to tell them! SZABMU, PLEASE THINK ABOUT OUR FUTURE AND RECTIFY YOUR MISTAKES RIGHT NOW!

Find rate constant at 250°C if it is 3*10-⁹ at 200°C is a wrong statement.
It should be like this: find rate of reaction at 250°C if initial rate at 200°C is 3*10-⁹. Since rate of reaction doubles per 10°C rise in temperature so at 250°C it should be 15*10-⁹. We should also use some sense even if the statement is wrong we have to check the options that which option would be correct if the statement were true.
Edit. According to my key 15*10-⁹ was option D

Sir Please raise voice for SZABMU MDCAT students. There were a lot of Out of syllabus MCQs from Prescribed PMDC syllabus (round about 13 to 15 MCQs) .This is so unfair with us because we have to compete with UHS MDCAT students. And Furthermore Key is also wrong .And 4-5 MCQs had not correct opens means other than correct options were given. This is so unfair sir 😢😢 please raise voice for SZABMU students.

My exam went very well, and I had predicted a score of over 190, but when I saw the result, I was shocked. This can't be right. My request to everyone is that if the result is corrected and grace marks are given, and they upload the paper then we will evaluate things Otherwise, if they plan to reconduct the exam, they should first admit their mistake, and only then will we agree to take the exam again.

ID C(Paper Code C)
Biology

**MCQ-5**
The change in the frequency of alleles at a locus that occurs by chance is known as:
A. Mutation
B. Genetic Drift
C. Non-random Mating
D. Speciation
**Comment:**
This question is out of the table of specification/syllabus given by UHS, so grace marks should be given for this question to all.

**MCQ-7**
Which of the following increases variation within a gene pool?
A. Chromosome Inversion
B. Crossing Over
C. Gene Mutation
D. Random Fusion of Gametes
**Comment:**
Biology Book (Punjab Textbook) 2nd Year
- Chapter #22: Variation & Genetics, Page 184 (second paragraph)
- Chapter #29: Evolution, Page 231 (Table: Mutation Definition)
Mutation alone does not change allele frequency much. The best option is **B. Crossing Over** according to the book.

**MCQ-26**
Which of the following is correct about a chlorophyll molecule?
A. Chemical Formula C55H70O6N4Mg
B. Porphyrin Ring with N in the center
C. Methyl Group on 2nd Pyrrole Ring
D. Aldehyde Group on 2nd Pyrrole Ring
**Comment:**
PTB, Chapter #11: Bioenergetics, Page 210
- In Paper Key Code **B**, C option has been marked correct, while in others, option **A** has been marked correct, which is actually the formula of chlorophyll 'a'.
**In the statement, it's not specified whether they are asking about chlorophyll 'a' or 'b'. They have asked generally about the chlorophyll molecule. Hence, the correct option is (C), which has also been marked as correct in paper code B.

**MCQ-30**
Monosaccharides have the general formula:
A. Cₙ(H₂O)ₙ
B. Cₙ(H₂O)ₓ
C. C₂(H₂O)ₙ
D. Cₓ(H₂O)ₙ
**Comment:** PTB, 1st year, Chapter 2 (Biological Molecules), Page #20, Topic: Carbohydrates
Federal Textbook, Chapter 2 (Biological Molecules), Page #36, Monosaccharides
Hence, option A is the correct option.

**MCQ-41**
The chromosome was first observed by:
A. T.H. Morgan
B. Griffith
C. Walther
D. Mendel
**Comment:** This is out of the table of specification as given by UHS. PTB, 2nd year, Chapter 20, Page 122 (Chromosomes & DNA).
Since this chapter was not included in the syllabus, marks should be awarded.

**MCQ-114 (Chemistry)**
Atomic masses of elements depend on:
A. Atomic no.
B. No. of electrons
C. No. of isotopes & abundance
D. None of the above
**Comment:** PTB, 1st year, Chapter 1, Page #6, Average Atomic Mass
Correct option is (C).

**English**

**MCQ-18**
Words spoken in earnest will convince him:
A. A few
B. The few
C. Few
D. Fewer
**Comment:**
Both options 'A' and 'B' should be marked as correct.

**MCQ-19**
She has beauty, brains, and wealth — a rare combination.
**Comment:**
Correct option is **B** as per Oxford Dictionary. A list of three or more items makes the comma necessary.
