Rozalla had another hit I remember, it was "Are You Ready To Fly" but it's a bit less energetic

Hey Dereck! Neneh Cherry’s sister Titiyo had a hit with her song “Come Along”. It’s one of those one hit wonders you never forget. We have similar musical taste so I know you would love it!

Lots of these songs from the early 90's. I hated when the 80's ended and the music style shiftet. These songs were pretty much the only music I still would accept and even like I remember. Maybe because of the synths it still somewhat reminded me of 80's.

I loved Rozalla. I bought her album back in the day. "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)" but also "Faith (In The Power Of Love)" and my favorite "Are You Ready To Fly" are all amazing club bangers ! garanteed to make you dance your banana's off ! :)

This was one of my absolutely favorite songs in my clubbing days. It could always get me to go out and pull me to the dance floor.

What stunned me back in the day was the orchestra hits part: playing left pan & right pan.

This is a song that gives me chills to this day when I hear it. It takes me back to the early 90's in my 20's and at the gay clubs. I remember going up the stairs at a big gay club and looking over the balcony to the dance floor while this was playing. I can still see everyone dancing. This is the biggest gay anthem every to me. Read it as part of the gay community;
Brother and sister
Together we'll make it through
Some day a spirit will lift you and take you there
I know you've been hurting but I've been waiting to be there for you
And I'll be there just helping you out
Whenever I can, ooh
Everybody's free to feel good
Everybody's free to feel good, to feel good
We are a family that should stand together as one
Helping each other instead of just wasting time
Now is the moment to reach out to someone, it's all up to you
When everyone's sharing their hope
Then love will win through, ooh
Everybody's free to feel good. The early 90's dance music in gay bars is still some of the best dance music. I have a whole itunes file of the music I remember from the clubs. Another song, which was not a gay anthem, was James Brown Is Dead. Who remembers that one?! It was played so much!!!

The moment 4:11 blew your mind that type of sound was typical of late 80s/90s dance music that started with acid house in the UK just WOW get on the dancefloor vibe.

I first heard this in Tenerife, Spain.

In a nightclub while on holiday with my mates 1991.

It was on a white label. Huge hit in the clubs before the radio stations started playing it.

I was 21 years old.

Great dance tune still sounds absolutely amazing today. ❤

This is a classic from the 90's 🫠. This song is so popular in Spain and, still, some radio stations play it even on these dates. Vintage music is back again, you know . After this, her next singles, “Faith”, “Are you ready to fly” and “Love Breakdown” were also hits.

I hope you recover soon from your appendix 🙏🏼😉.

Great memories of when I was 14 when I had just started 8th Grade at college. 😊🙂🥰😍☺
I remember that I heard this song a lot on the radio, especially on NRJ (radio for young people and teenagers since the 80's at the time of free radio in France) which I ended up recording forcefully on a cassette which I still have Besides. I also sometimes listened to it on my walkman.

I also remember very well the CLIP that I saw a lot on M6 (also a little on Canal + at the time of the TOP 50 ranking at the time, no8 it seems) which was widely broadcast.
Apparently you have seen the most famous clip which is the European and UK version (where we see her performing live in front of an audience probably in a nightclub) because there is a US VERSION shot in NY City totally different (I prefer the European version ) which I didn't know at all.
It still remains a very good dance song, a CLASSIC since I've always been listening, which we sometimes hear on the radio just like the CLIP also on TV channels during PARTY evenings like on the RFM channel on WE on RFM in RFM Night Fever or a show on 90'S DANCE on M6 MUSIC at the weekend as well.

Hey, I highly recommend that you react to "Poeme sur la 7 eme" by Johnny Hallyday live in Bercy 1992. This song is one of the first to talk about ecology and the destruction of the planet
