The family episodes are some of the best and most heartfelt I've seen from this type of show, especially for such short episodes. I find myself often rewatching the episode the choices which deals with Nicole's struggle with her family. Such a beautiful episode, makes me tear up everytime

Absolutely Fax. In The Hero Gumball and Darwin made fun of Richard, calling him a bad dad. That must have hurt extra hard for Richard especially when he's trying his best to be the best father possible and avoid becoming his own father.

People tend to overlook men who were abused, by anyone, and blame their trauma responses to normal situations as 'not being man enough'. A man who was abused and conditioned to always please his mother, otherwise if she didnt hebwould face intense ounishments, are just looked at as mamas boys and 'weak spined'. So many stories of Mamas Boys who try to do what their mother wants are made worse by partners who either cant or refuse to see hes traumatized and being around his abuser makes him revert back to his survival instincts he developed as a kid to deal with their mom. It takes YEARS of support, paitients, and understanding to help them get over it. But most women dint want to do that, they just want to be taken care of by 'their man' and are fine if he qorks homself to the bone so long as he makes enough money so she can buy another purse. To some people men are just seen as providers and living banks, and nothing more.
