The Humble Arbiter

I wish we got to see more from the Arbiter in Halo.

The Arbiter was the definition of determined. He was willing to risk life and limb, even with risk of Master Chief being there. He truly redeemed himself.

The Arbiter is a chad and has metaphorically balls. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like he’s got the physical ones.

The Sangheili in general are the most respectable species in the Covenant, to this day my favorite bit of lore is the fact that during the war with the humans, the Sangheili were like "yo prophets, these humans have a ferocious spirit and fight like hell, and we respect tf outta that, so why dont they join the covenant?"

What also make Thel Vadam aka the Arbiter so humble in my opinion is the story on how he let a barracks full of Marines arm themselves before he attacked. He and a group of Covenant soldiers led an attack on colony and ended up taking a barracks full of unarmed Marines by surprise. Once Thel noticed the Marines weren’t equipped to fight, he told his soldiers to stand down. He then allowed the Marines to fully arm and equip themselves before fighting ultimately giving them a chance. Granted, he and his soldiers still killed all of the Marines, but it’s the fact that he still gave them a fair chance to defend themselves. Any other Elite would’ve slaughtered them on the spot whether if they were armed or not.

The arbiter had one of the character growths through the franchise. He went from ship master to basically a disposable tool who regained his honor and fought for what he felt was the right path he should follow.

Thel was and is an amazing Arbiter. Ripa though, he was possibly one the strongest Arbiters in the Covenant history.

Reason why he was branded as a Heretic was because he was getting very powerful, and showing a very dangerous trait. A respect for humanity.

The arbiter is a grand ally to have, smart, fast, quick thinking, tactically genius. And he's a terrible foe to face due to these qualities

The Halo wars arbiter is probably one of the coolest arbiters, and he's even better in halo wars 2, it's absolutely hilarious how strong he was

Arbiter is so sick. His voice actor did a phenomenal job. Halo 2 campaign went so hard.

I think an old friend of mine said what Arby has was Conviction. Unshakable faith in what he was doing. That is what made him a good pairing to the Chief.
