Unregulated exchanges can dump the price anytime they want to liquidate the leveraged longs then pump it up and cash out some leveraged shorts. Great business model until the regulators come in.

I want to know the real reason Binance had to do emergency maintenance. Is it possible they were targeted with some sort of organized attack, along with coinbase, that could force them to have 6 hours of downtime? If it was just one exchange that would be one thing. Gold is VERY easy to manipulate if you have 1 /5000 physical to paper gold. Then real gold price can stay at it's current price forever, set daily and controlled by the banks who bough you paper gold.

It's not a theory. It is fact. CUBS went down at the CBOT many times, then the night session got crazy. Back in the day before globex.
