he said he didnt want to be in the marketing for Aladdin but they did it anyways and ever since then we've had LOADS of celebrities voice characters instead of voice actors.

Directors are so desperate to be relevant to the current posterity. Tiktokers as voice actors? I don’t think it’s a good idea when Addison Rae is more focused on making tik tok dances then actually having a good acting voice.

Bro I remember watching Trolls in the theater when it first came out.

As much as I hate to say it, you really have to blame Aladdin and Robin Williams. His role as the Genie was one of the first to pioneer using already big stars for animated characters. And he FREAKING KILLED IT! So much that everyone was like “dude, that was amazing, of course this is a good idea we should all replicate until it ruins the art of animation!”
