This has turned out to be my favorite plane to fly. I think it starts with how easy to load in the truck. Then 4 screws to attach the wings. Easy to plug in the bind plug, easy to insert the battery.
I was talking to a fellow RC Pilot about the Evolution last week, which he hadn’t flown. I went through all the upsides and why I already bought a 2nd, but he’s a realist and wanted to know what I didn’t like about it. I sat there uncomfortably for about 20 seconds trying to give him an honest answer. I came up with- “It’s hard to see in profile on a sunny day. And when I land it keeps wanting to glide.” That’s it. There’s nothing bad about this plane. Easy to fly, great to work on your rolls, loops, Cuban 8’s, etc.
The Evolution is the first plane I fly when I get to the field. It’s 10-15 minutes of stress-free fun. (At 94 mph)

You guys have a bike track where you are also ;-) I hear dirt bikes in the background.. ;-) so does my flyclub... nice landing... slowing it down is the hardest lol God Bless H.2.T.S.

For those thinkiing of any new Horizon Hobby BNF models. the AR637T TX installed in these models is locked. That means if you ever crash or tire of the model, you either throw away a 120€ TX or are forced to buy a BNF of the same model and reinstall. Given how often Horizon retire models this may be a problem in future or likely you get charged to unlock. At the moment Horizon refuse to help you unlock the AR637T so it can be used in other models. Model is OK, its not a great glider but its OK. Also not super stiff (especially tail boom) as most reviews are informing and you may want to consider better servos.. also check control cables to elevator and rudder.., . they can slip.
