"I'm still a little girl." I love that!

The way she responded to that question @ 1:35 was priceless, and her facial expression was like..."wait, hold up, that question made no sense; don't try to make me grown before my time dude"

When she said “I’m still a little girl” made me laugh but I felt bad because of the sadness in her face

What an adorable and talented little girl. You don't need red hair and freckles to be Annie. All you need is talent and she's got it.

to highlight how people view black children as older than they actually are 1:35

I’ll never forget or forgive him for saying that

"You seem so grown up to me" from a middle aged man to a 9 year old little girl is not a compliment, even though she said thank you. She kept it nice and polite but that comment was problematic.

She is absolutely adorable and has a magnificent energy and presence. People will look for any reason to put down up and coming child actors and actresses, especially ones of color, but unfortunately for the haters that won't stop them from rising. Miss Wallis is a phenomenal young actress and I know we'll be seeing more of her in big movies after Annie.

Her comment at the end literally sent chills up my spine. What an inspiring young girl.

Just saw Annie with my daughter and it was the best Annie out of all the ones I've seen, her voice, poise, and charisma are electrifying . She is an amazing talent and I wish her all the luck in the world. Great job baby.

its really a problem how young black girls aged up like that. She's a little girl and looks as so.

ANNIE is Fantastic! Jamie Foxx and Little Miss Wallis continue to prove they both deserved their Oscar nods a couple of years ago! Cameron Diaz, Rose Byrne, and the rest of the cast are great, too. Do yourself a favor, go see this movie today, and leave the theater with a smile!

Quvenzhane is an adorable, well spoken, talented, and intelligent young lady. Yes the 2014 version of Annie wasn't the classic Annie but neither was the version from the 80s compared to the original stage production. The newest Annie movie does a really good job of creating an updated version of a classic relevant to our times. So no it isn't the classic Annie. It was never intended to be but it gave off all the same vibes and lessons as Annie and still felt like Annie which is what made the movie successful.

Such a talented child! My little cousins light up each time they see her in a magazine or on TV!

Underrated movie. I think it was great at modernizing the classic.
