'The Godfather' actor James Caan dead at 82

The actor was known for his roles in "The Godfather," "Misery" and "El Dorado."

The first Movie I ever saw James Caan in was " Brian's Song" from the 70's. Such a beautiful and sad movie. I was just a child when I saw it but it made a huge impact on my life. I recommend this movie.
However the Sonny character in Godfather is the one I associate best with Mr. Caan. Sonny was the best brother a girl could have. Loved his gangsta in that role.
He was such a versatile actor.
Who ever thought he'd grow up to become Buddy's dad in elf, clenching a whole new generation of fans.
Rest in paradise Legend.

I am very sorry to hear of one of my favorite that I always loved to see but never knew his name by hard. Loved him in my favorite show Vegas and many other movies. Ignorance on my part, here my dumb self is watching and loving Hawaii 5.0 and loving Scott Caan's work not knowing that he is the son of MR JAMES CAAN. A JOB WELL DONE MR JAMES CAAN AND MY GOD BE PLEASED. TO THE FAMILY I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
