This playthrough was a good mix of entertainment and giving the viewer a clear understanding of the moves you were making, and some insight into why you were making those moves. You two are great! About the Refined Market upgrade at 15:20, it adds $5 more to refined oil. Not for the crude oil in those market.

As others have mentioned, Monique is possibly the best board game teacher out there. Very impressive! I love how you always try to connect it to the bigger picture and/or theme.

When we play 4 player we've houseruled that, for the first purchase of tiles, players may place their meeple between tiles and purchase on all sides of it. It's currently one of my favourite meaty two-player games. Great video as usual :)

I liked the idea of Pipeline but i was hesitant to get it because of the 'low' number of turns that you get, then i saw how much money you guys made in this game and i immediately ordered it. My friends and I have been playing it and loving it since.

Very late to the party, but man, this game is so good! I can't believe it's Ryan Courtney's first design too!

One thing about the teach. The upgrade that makes oil more expensive to buy/sell in the refined markets does NOT affect the price of CRUDE oil in those markets. It means that if one player sells, say low grade oil, and you want to buy it to refine it to mid/high, THEN you pay 5 extra bucks (which you make back when you sell it again). It's not the most obvious that you would ever want to buy refined oil in the market, but I guess if you play with 4 players and the crude is running out, you would be interested in buying low grade oil too.
