He might have known that Yunli is Blade's niece and, given that Blade is a fugitive, he might have also been aware of the consequences if he were to hurt Yunli.

If Yunli gets married to Yanqing then Huaiyan would be Jing Yuan's Father in Law and Jingliu would be Huaiyan's co-grandparents in law. This would also mean Jing Yuan and Blade are brothers in law and Jingliu is Blade's Grandmother in Law. But this also means Yanqing is now Blade's Nephew in Law.
