I'm so glad i learned truths about Bob Marley. They represented him like he was just the biggest pot head in the world. Look further....he was totally enlightened. Listen to his powerful message, and repeating The Word of God.

Tell Ziggy I'm fine, and to keep Cedella in line, cause we soon go home a we yawd, Tell Auntie I'm fine, and to keep daughter in line. Only 1 Bob, what a true work of art his music. His Chauffeur was my neighbour, and the day he died, I was in basic school, heading to post office on lunch break, Saw my neighbors mother crying, it was after I asked her what was wrong sahe said Bob Marley died. At no older than age 5-6 years old, That was a sad day as I grew up on his music. Sleep well Bob, Even though I never knew you personally, I feel very close to you. Sleep well

True indeed. Marley quotes the Prophet Isaiah in this song. How profound!

Bob Marley, a family man...The version that depicts how he cares for his own family, no matter how the world was keeping him on the road constantly

The first Bob Marley song I ever knew. In the early 80s in Miami there was a Reggae segment that came on every Sunday on WEDR (the same station now called 99JAMZ). The segment was called "The Pepper Pot Hour". I remember thinking of a cowboy movie when I would hear this song. Like a man wanted and running from a sherriff trying to hang him.

This song to me is Bob eerily forecasting his passing. "I've got two boys and a woman, and I know they won't suffer now." Tremendously moving lyrics to me. Bob, if you only knew the legacy you left behind.

What kills about this track is the rising and falling pitch of the scratchy guitar playing in the background.
