I feel like this would be a good show if the context wasn’t a heathers reboot like it would just be a good show on its own without it being based off the original

This literally takes away from the point of Kurt and Rams suicide.

"How could you do this to kurt! He is the smartest guy on the football team! .... which is kind of being the tallest dwarf."

Ok, i really, really like this, but calling it a heathers reboot feels wrong. Its just not right. This isnt really heathers its just a highschool dark comedy, with some inspiration from heathers.

wait since Heather Duke is dating Kurt, that would make Kurt actually actually gay or bi? so what do they do for the Kurt and ram suicide note if Kurt actually is queer and everyone knows it.

This dialogue is really try hard. He used like 3 metaphors to say he cant date him. The overcomplicated language stifles the genuine emotion. I havent seen this whole series but I'm assuming this gay character probably speaks in an over the top and complicated way all the time. If so, it would be more compelling to see him struggle for words when hes going through something difficult.

so Kurt is gay? So what does Veronica's suicide note from Kram actually do then if everyone already knows he's gay?

I hate the reboot but Kurt and ram have for some reason always been favorites of mine in the movie and even musical. I'm really happy to see them more developed instead of me and my friends just making headcanons for them and building their characters off of our own thoughts and stuff. This is pretty cool to see even if it kinda sucks ngl

Ok actors in highschool movies tend to look a bit older since they are but this guy looks like he's 35 and divorced

I love this Heather Duke. I haven't watched the show, but I like that it includes a human nature to the Heathers. Duke was obviously upset about the breakup but felt pressured by the roles that her/him? (Again I don't know pronouns due to not having the network to watch the show on) and the other Heathers have to keep up the image that society tells them they have to be.
I've seen a lot of hate going towards this new series, but I don't agree with a lot of it. Yes, the Heathers are now from minorities, but there's also a lot of other things playing into how they're acting. There's pressure to be popular and above everything/everyone else, perhaps acting out to make up for insecurities of being in these minorities. I love the humanization that is shown throughout the clips I have seen and find it contrasts heavily with both the movie and the musical. There's time to think about why the Heathers do the things they do and why they think the way they do. And to those who think that these minorities are offended by being used as a bully, I'm genderqueer and I am /flattered/ that we're represented in this show.
All in all, good job Paramount Network!
