The Metcalf chase down is so funny to me. The runner looks back and you can see he's panicking he's about to be run down by a terminator. Like a Gazelle and a Lion 😂

The thing I love about that Metcalf tackle is the way he reacts instantly. If he had hesitated one second, Baker would have scored. The instant he sees the interception, he turns on the afterburners right now. I don't even remember if the Cardinals ending up scoring after that. It almost doesn't matter.

I'm old. Best I ever saw was Rocky Thompson, NY Giants. Ran around Cowboy blockers to come back to the receiver before the endzone. Hard to imagine lining up in the blocks to run the 100yd (yes yds) dash against Eugene Morris (they called him Mercury), Duane Thomas, and RT. My little brother ran 9.6 and at 5'5" 140lbs looked like he was standing still. The West TX State backfield was probably the fastest in the history of college football. Thomas and RT routinely ran 9.4. Morris ran 9.3 as much as 9.4. If he didn't have a step he out leaned his teammates.
