I was tabbed out from Youtube but still playing the Ziyarat in the background while I download the entire Ziyarat in PDF. At first, I only intended to listen so I can practice reading later. I do not understand Arabic and was not reading the English Translation but for unknown reasons, I was crying a lot while listening and it was painful like as if I was mourning for someone's death without the intent. I was never able to cry when going to Masjid for Ashura when I was a child. Perhaps I'm finally processing the tragedy from this event.

I planned this to be my first Ziyarat to start reading but I don't know if I can with how powerful it is to make me cry. I thought I lost my ability to cry due to growing up with narcissistic abuse and becoming emotionally numb but listening to this was such a blessing, it felt like it unblocked the trapped emotions that are finally free to express itself.
