Multi Measurement Test

Imetrum Video Gauge™ software showing the ability to apply more than one measurement point to a specimen undergoing a tensile test in real time. A vertical strain gauge has been applied along with 5 horizontal strain gauges giving the user data throughout the test. In fact over 200 individual measurement points can be applied to a test in real time, even more in post process mode where the video is replayed and new measurement points can be added, thus saving money on samples required to be tested. If the user had a once only sample to be tested then using contacting extensometry could cost time and money. Various measurements can be applied including virtual strain gauges, displacement, rotation, extensometers, poissons ratio and dual averaging strain measurements.
