Towards the release of Metaphor: ReFantazio, we spent some time with Shigenori Soejima, Shoji Meguro and Katsura Hashino, the creator trio behind the game.

Starting their career on Shin Megami Tensei, they are behind the direction & scenario, music and art behind Persona 3, 4 and 5, taking on a new genre to create an original RPG with Atlus.

The perfect platform to do this with Atlus

the fucking demo is 4 hours long lul, as someone who only played persona 5 royal due to the fact it had less about turn-based combat .I played 4 hours straight, this game is fucking amazing. The questions the story raises towards the end of the prologue and what actually happens had me on the edge of my seat. The United Kingdom of Euchronia is one of the coolest fantasy worlds in awhile, fascinating worldbuilding teased here with various major players, races, clans and "Humans". It's a political drama like GoT & FF Tactics, but character driven like Persona. I haven't experienced anything quite like it..

Played the demo…and it just feels like a fantasy version of P5. Nothing wrong with that overall but I was expecting a bit more creativity.
