Parrot Bebop Drone Review?

This is my review of the Parrot Bebop Drone. As you will find out things did not go well.

The thing is that you have to get the update within freeflight while connected to your local wifi, not the bebop, and then once that is done you connect to the bebop wifi to install the firmware. Kinda weird because there is no directions for it. But you can't get the firmware downloaded while connected to the bebop wifi. If you're stuck at step one, that's why. Keep the bebop on with a fresh battery the whole time though, so once you DL the firmware you can reconnect to the bebop wifi. And do not interrupt the bebop at all when it's updating. Wait and let it do it's thing. I can't remember for sure, but I think the bebop powers itself down when it's done and then you power it back on. But I'm not sure- can't remember. I only remember that it was obvious when it was done.

Updating isn't the issue. 
It doesn't hover 2 or 3 meters - it hovers 1 meter above ground when you press take off.

How high did you smash it into the ground from? My understanding is the emergency button is a last resort and cuts the power, I'm sure it doesn't cause it to hover 2-3m off the ground.
