I woke up from a deep sleep at dawn and it was raining outside the window. Lights from far-sighted buildings, and rain on windows make shadows on beds. Amber is my favorite color to fall asleep with. When I sleep over at my grandma's on the couch in the living room, you can see out the window an amber streetlight. I think that's why it's so relaxing to me, very nostalgic and memorable moments I didn't know would mean so much to me now.

I lived for 6 years in a room which only had two window holes but no windows. The room was on the upper floor of a house. It was great when there were thunderstorms.

On most days, a thunderstorm was accompanied by a power cut and it was raining all night. The wind blew in since there was no window. I used to go to sleep snuggling in my blanket and listening to the rhythm of raindrops and thundering. I used to feel as if I was spending the night inside a cave on a rainy night. It was the best feeling in the world.
