You should also make a video on why when you sample a song in the sampler, Garageband should have text over the key to say the tempo of the audio, so you don't have to find it yourself.

Ya but how do you drag the audio onto the grid? Say making your own loop? I can't seem to split and then line up/snap the beginning of the audio region to the grid when dragging it around the arrangement

That’s why guitar parts and vocals come out crappy in the blue tracks and I don’t think they’ll time stretch either. Very limited on FX....it LOOKS good but I’m afraid it’s just gonna be a sketch ✍️ pad until they improve it. I’m moving up to Cubasis 3 and I’ll need improvements made on Auria Pro as well.

You can Pete! Click on an audio track (not the whole track, but the singing element) and choose settings. And then you can see the option ‘follow tempo and pitch’. Don’t know what words are used in the english version (I have Garageband in Dutch language). You can quantize an audio track like this.

I think they are able to do it but maybe they don’t do it because it’s iOS and also maybe uses more processing power because you are able to quantize audio waves on the Mac.
What about when you have the drum kick followed the bass guitar. How does it know to follow it? UC?
I wish they can put it on the iOS. Quantize audio just like the Mac.

2 reasons. 1) so people purchase Logic 2) To get your time right. I don't think Bonham ever quantized? I could be wrong ¿?

GarageBand used to be able to do this…so I’m thoroughly frustrated that now all of a sudden it cannot

Hello Bro, needed your help. In Garageband -> When i am connecting my scarlett 2i4 to my Macbook pro, it is not getting detected. This is happening only after BIG SUR OS was installed. Not sure if i am missing anything here. If you have any idea on how to fix it, please do share me any tips. Thanks !
