In this Advocate Webinar, we discuss a new policy many pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) are using called accumulator adjustment programs, which could especially impact people in high deductible health plans. These are relatively new policies that some pharmacy benefit managers and insurers are using to change how patients meet their annual deductible. During the webinar, you will learn about our campaign to educate patients and arm them with the resources they need to navigate these new policies.

This is a crime... To penalize people for having copay assistance is inhumane. To require patients who rely on Lifesaving medication that DOES NOT have a generic should be against the Law... How in the hell does anybody short of millionaires to have the ability to pay thousands of dollars a month for a drug that does not have a generic and cost thousands??. As of January, 2019 I am now a victim of this ridiculous game that insurers, pharmacies and pharmacy benefits managers are playing.. They are playing with a persons life.. For PBMS and health plans to tell us that its "Not fair" for employees that don't have copay cards to be asked to pay total out of pocket cost is an insult.. MOST EMPLOYEES DON'T HAVE CHRONIC ILLNESSES WITH LIFESAVING MEDICATIONS THAT COST THOUSANDS A MONTH... I would gladly trade places with one of these employees... THESE COPAYMENT ACCUMULATORS WILL END UP IN FEDERAL COURT....
