My brother comnitted suicide 7 months prior. Him and I were very close. None of us saw it coming. It was heart- wrenching. The words you wanna runaway Run away and you say it can't be so. you wanna Look away look away but you stay because it's all so close " Described exactly What I was feeling. The disbelief that he was gone. That he was so miserable that suicide seemed reasonable. But I couldn't Run from it. not from the pain. Not from reality. Not from the bond that couldn't deny him.. It was nothing short of Braverly to push past that. my husband held me, supported me, he let me fall apart then helped me up, prayed with me and for me. He reminded of scriptures that showed God cared and the hope I could see him again. He gave me the strength to be brave and face all the things that were so unbelievably painful. My brother was his best friend. His bravery gave me bravery. I could connect to this song. It gave voice to my struggle. The power in his voice helped gave me grit to rise and move forward. Thank You, Josh.

This song helped me so much before I had to go in for open heart surgery, ended up needing a quad by-pass. I listened to it over and over again, cried every time, including listening to it as I was knocked out. Woke up to it playing in my room, being played by my partner. Still has the power to make me cry. Its been 4 months now since the surgery and I'm still being "Brave".
