The Trooper, Iron Maiden, how to get the sound of Steve Harris on Piece of Mind

My all time favorite metal song from my all time favorite metal album, and one of the reasons for that is Steve's galloping bass line. I always thought of it as "growling". This was the song when I was 13 listening to it in headphones that I really had my first musical "awakening" and it's been a big deal to me ever since. Most players miss the staccato. I used to own the Peavy Mk III and I never got it to sound anything like Harris's tone LOL

hello. can u tell me how u deal with clank? steve clank is very different than mine. mine is loud and steves clank is barely noticeable by sound but u can hear it a little

2- PUT ROTOSOUND CUSTOM S.H. BASS STRINGS ON IT...

3- FIND STEVE ( HE IS AT THE WEST HAM UNITED 'S FOOTBALL GAME IN LONDON )

4- MAKE HIM PLAY...
