#1 was the favorite, she looks happy about the past and seems to be joking about what she is saying, while #2 seems to be serious about what she is saying and is worried that she disappointed her mom.

#2 was the favorite, shes scared she disappointed her mother because shes used to her mother being proud of her, shes a perfectionist. Meanwhile #1 doesnt care about that because shes used to being yelled at, given out to, Getting in trouble etc

Hot take: they were both equally loved, just believed the other was the favorite. #2 is sad because she feels like she didn't make her mother/father/whatever proud. While #1 feels relieved that they no longer have to watch their sibling get "most" of the attention/ or maybe even #1 is more upbeat because that's how she deals with stress/grief. As you can see her slightly frown towards the end.

Not completely rejecting the idea of the favorite child. Just saying that it's possible they were equally loved and just felt the other was the favorite.

As someone who seemed to be the "favorite child", I think it's 2. Always felt indebted because they treat me like gold and expect a lot

I think that #2 is the fav child because she says ‘disappointed with who I turned out to be’ which hints that she was always the golden child whereas #1 is smiling and thinks of it more in a jokey way

1 seems more at peace, maybe even feels less suffocated and more happier (maybe due to the fact that she wasn't the favourite and the mom might've put her down a lot), while 2 looks like she still genuinely misses her mother.

I’m not sure how to explain it. But #2 is the favorite child. #1 seems excited for such a unique and beautiful experience and happy about finally having something fascinating going on in life. But #2 seems to be starting to realize that all the attention and praise they have been receiving have been making them an obnoxious or self-obsessed person. All the new experiences and gifts they have been receiving doesn’t really make them feel loved, but worshipped and respected in the wrong ways. But to me both have seen hurt because of how they are treated. #1 seems so happy and excited and that shows me that they didn’t see much in their life. #2 looks hurt because they know that people don’t genuinely love them. They just probably pick up their parents passion so they tend to get more attention since they are interesting.

I know that probably doesn’t make sense but that’s how I see it. And hopefully some people can agree.

2 is the favorite because she’s worried she didn’t live up to their expectations. 1 is laughing it off, as she already knows that they never cared too much about her, and is probably relieved that they’re gone

I think 2 was the favorite, 1 was trying to laugh everything off knowing she wasn't the favorite. You could see she was kind nervous as well. While 2 was worried that she didn't live up to her expectations, but you could tell she missed her mother, 1 on the other hand didn't seem to miss her much.

Definitely 2. I usually watch these videos twice to see both reactions but i only got to watch girl 1 before i came to my conclusion. when i saw 1, i immediately knew that she wasn't the favorite because she didn't care and was joking about it. She wasn't worried about disappointing anyone because no matter what she does, it'll be a disappointment anyway so she learned to cope with it by not caring anymore. I notice that i do that indefinitely when it comes to my mom's affection towards me vs my siblings. so i knew instantly that 1 wasn't the favorite.

#2 was the favorite. She had to keep a perfect image the whole time, which let her stressed, while #1 didn’t care less since she was neglected. #2 seems nervous over her mom’s death, too.

I think that #2 was the favorite child. One has healed, but it’s painful so she puts on a brave face and jokes about all the trauma that she endured while in that household. But two didn’t even realize all the harm that was being done to her until after, and the pain of that betrayal, especially from someone who gave her so much affection as the favorite, is fresh. That’s why she seems more upset

I actually think #2 is the favourite and they’re scared to be seen as a failure so they’re scared to mess up, #1 doesn’t care anymore and doesn’t try to please anyone because it doesn’t affect them like it did before. ♥️
