Leo rising may be the only people in the zodiac who do not pretend they are “humble” etc. but say it loud to the world that as a human being ego is a big part of the game. The only sign who will say, “I will not apologize for my arrogance because everybody is secretly so”, the only sign humble enough to oddly admit, “Yes, I am arrogant and I’m not proud of it” are Leos. This was SO me. I'm Pisces sun Leo rising. For 23 years I worked in non-profit jobs. I've always interviewed extremely well (great first impression). I was always got hired easily, promoted, given lots of responsibility, leadership, etc. But my Piscean creativity was completely blocked. I finally found a creative outlet and--in true Leo rising form--I'm a performer now. I didn't know that about Leo rising. Thank you for explaining it so clearly :-)

Im leo rising with aquarius sun. I definitely have all of those difficulties you mentioned fear of rejection, needing approval etc. Im a pretty shy person and Im very afraid of instances where people see my failures on a large stage. My oldest son is a Leo rising. When he’s in trouble or if he’s not getting enough attention at home he will start to act really goofy and laugh a lot. When he’s in trouble and does this, it seems like a way to deflect the situation. Which actually makes me angrier 😬 so thank you for reminding me that this is just who he is and that I need to show him grace. Also, he has really great hair lol is that a Leo rising trait? I’m a Leo rising, Taurus sun with a Leo moon. So I’m a “double Leo”. I do tell a lot of jokes and people find me funny and entertaining. I like to provide the jokes. I have always found since my youth, that all eyes were on me and I use to find it awkward but when I hit my 30s I was able to deal with it better. I could never understand why I attracted so much attention but since I delved into astrology about 5 years ago, I learned why.

My chart is fire dominant and I am a Chinese fire horse (horn in 66) and as I have got older, I feel I have more energy than ever. It’s almost as if people that come too close to be will get “burnt” by all m energy ie. like getting to close to the sun. Your description fits me well. I love bold bright colours. Yellow is my favourite colour and the colour I love to wear is red. In the winter when everyone else is in black I will be in all the brightest bold colours I can find. I love standing out. Virgo sun/Cancer Moon/Leo Rising/Libra Mercury&Mars/Scorpio Venus and I can be very bubbly and outgoing with people at first. Of course, it all depends on the overall vibe of the room. I do not like to embarrass myself and I'm pretty self conscious. Everywhere I go, people stare at me and as a result I have become more closed off in public places, space out and look through people because interacting with strangers and making eye contact makes me super clumsy and uncomfortable inside. I am told I am intimidating until you talk to me. I smile a lot and and am very talkative once you break through my bubble.

I was not any of this growing up. I had the roughest childhood. I didn't want anyone's attention. But I think this is colored by the fact that my Sun is in the 7th house in Aquarius. I do resonate with having to live from the heart, be authentic, and living in a wholehearted manner. But I have never been someone who wants people looking at me. In fact, we are eloping because I don't want to walk down the isle in front of people.
