This performance is from an episode of Celebrity Cabaret, a syndicated variety show produced in NYC in 1977.

That was the best-quality upload of this performance I could find online. It is a mimed performance to the single, so I have replaced the audio track with a high-quality one of the single, and this involved slowing down the footage very slightly, as it was running slightly fast compared to the HQ audio track I am using. To accompany the beginning of the song, I have put up on screen a picture of the single cover as released in the Netherlands. I have cropped the edges of the video picture, just enough to clean them up. I have also adjusted the colours very slightly, making the dark areas slightly darker. I have also added optional subtitles for the lyrics. I have also upscaled the resolution from 240p to 1080p, as this increases the bitrate, which slightly improves picture quality at all the different resolution settings the viewer can select and also allows for the highest-quality audio, but please be aware that playing it at the 1080p setting is not going to make it look as good as a true 1080p video.

This song was written by Barry and Robin Gibb, and produced by Gibb-Galuten-Richardson (Barry Gibb, Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson). According to Wikipedia, this single went to No. 1 in Canada and New Zealand, and reached No. 2 in her native Australia, No. 3 in the USA, No. 9 in Ireland, No. 11 in the UK, No. 18 in Sweden, and No. 32 in the Netherlands. The single is credited to Samantha Sang only, even though Barry Gibb's vocals feature in it quite heavily.

I have not been able to find an official presentation of the lyrics to this song. To help me in trying to figure out what the correct lyrics are, I have also listened to the Bee Gees version of the song, which was first released in 2001. Gr8 video. When I was editing my Shelley Fabares video I too had to speed up and slow down the video so the HQ version of the song I added could sync. Even though the speed of the song in the original video and the HQ song seemed equal it really wasn't. I was surprised by this.
