People, this is literally the cat your domesticated cat evolved from. Of course they look alike, it's like a wolf to a husky.

So cute when he was eating those flying termites lol. These cats are amazing, no wonder they have conquered the world. Such a varied diet and an excellent hunter. It's hard to imagine a cat like this in its natural environment ever going hungry. Even if it's injured, it can survive on insects. So versatile and adaptable.

It's kind of weird seeing a regular looking cat not in someone's house or yard.

Our zoo had one of these and in the smallest cage i felt so bad. She just walked with people as they walked by rubbing the fence...they had no boundrys around the fence so i got close just to see how she would react and she was just rubbing like a house cat so stuck my hand flat up to the fence and she just wanted love. Didn't act like a wild cat. After that i was to sad to stay and have refused to step foot in a zoo. That small cage was inhumane just because its a small cat doesnt mean it should be all alone in a small cage. Broke my heart. She acted like a lovable house cat...probably not normal at all which means she needed change. Idk if she's still there i haven't been in 7 years.

That cat looks a lot like my cat, even I recognized the same moves. Cats will be the same forever, wild or tame.

I used to have this cat. She was a stray found pregnant in a gas station parking lot. For a long time I thought she was just a cat until I read an article about the African wildcat in a Ranger Rick magazine. She was very long with huge eyes and huge ears, an excellent Hunter and her markings were 100% identical to the African wildcat. She was very smart and independent. I had a very special bond with her that I don't think I will ever have with another pet again. It was an amazing Stroke of Luck and fate that she ended up with me. She was my soulmate. Rip Dilly

I know that house cats are descendants of these but it amazes me still
Just how similar they still are. I can go and film my cat in the wild and there's no difference
