An Introduction to Key Data Management Capabilities for Non-Professionals

This is an introduction to the second course of the Program "Data Management for Finance and Business Professionals." This introductory course for non-professionals presents key data management capabilities.
Participants will become familiar with the following: a concept of a business capability; four common data management capabilities: data governance, data modeling, enterprise architecture, and data quality; links between these capabilities and five key questions about data that we’ve discussed in Course 1 of this program; and data management tasks to be performed by finance business professionals.
After completing this course, they will be able to: apply the concept of a “business capability” in practice, assess the necessity of key data management capabilities for your company, and use them in their daily practices.
