Stock markets around the world plunged Monday, pummeling Wall Street with steep losses as fears worsen that the U.S. economy is slowing. However, Earl Davis from BMO Global Asset Management says a Canadian recession is not on the horizon. Davis says that the sell-off may affect ‘big tech’ but things ‘should be alright’ for Canada.
