Why You Should Enjoy Making Content

I've found I'm both decent at making parody videos and I also enjoy them a lot, which is why I do what I do; Try things out and experiment, and see what you think you have a strength in compared to other people.

Whatever is popular and done by a lot of people isn't always the best route to go. It's why the parody videos I made were a big success; Yes, it was hopping on the Lifesteal trend, but it was also unique and different from normal Lifesteal content, adding to the fact that I REALLY enjoy making those videos. Don't just give up on your dreams because there is something somewhere out there for you.

This is so true. I used to make animation videos, some getting close to a thousand views and where I got most of my subscribers, but at some point I just didnt enjoy animating anymore and just made it hard for me to make more videos. Im still trying to find what content to make, but I think im getting close to what I like to do

This is so true! If you don’t enjoy making the content your making then find something you like to make. It was a struggle for me to figure out for a while but now I’ve worked out how I’m going to do my videos I can be more consistent. This video was very inspirational thank you!

this is really true, I have a lot of videos I wanted to do but I just couldn’t do it. dreams are about what you enjoy. even if I make videos that don’t have good editing, I still love it. greatness is a reward, but you might as well have fun while you do it. have fun div

This happened to me with the prison content phase. I uploaded one prison video and my channel blew up. But it just wasn't for me. I don't really like making prison content so I switched my content to the things I like. (ie: SMP videos and Hypixel content.) I knew my viewer base wouldn't like it but if I didn't switch then, I would be stuck making prison content for the rest of that channel's life. Switching content styles made me realize you can't just upload what is popular, but what you enjoy. That is the true gold. If you want to get in on a "popular" content style. Adapt YOUR content to it. Like the parody video I made for the bedrock vault. I *loved* making that video and it did very well! That is the most viewed video on my channel to this day (excluding shorts)!

All in all, make what makes you happy. :)

I totally agree with this. Don’t do something just because it’s popular, do because it’s fun. What’s the point of doing something optionally if you don’t enjoy it?

But I have more to say. Something I’ve struggled with is not knowing my strengths and weaknesses, not knowing what I’m good at, and I don’t have anything that just comes to me. Maybe content isn’t for me at all? Idk

i always wanted to become an animator on youtube and thought i just needed to work hard on it but now that i think about it i just see that i just don't enjoy making art and was just trying to be interesting instead of doing things i enjoy.
i think i just wanna make smp and pvp Minecraft content or just games i enjoy like Titanfall 2 and sea of thieves and i can thank this video for letting me understand what i really want my career to be
