Mother's Day in Canada is right around the corner. Here are a few reflections on how the EXPECTATION vs the REALITY of motherhood has impacted me.

Happy Mother's Day to all of of you beautiful Mothers. Thank you for all that you do XOXO

Hi, I'm Amanda, I put my face on the internet at least once a week. Sometimes it's mom talk, make up talk, or maybe I'm just telling you how much I love coffee. Either way, SUBSCRIBE and stick around so we can be friends and share our journeys together. It'll be fun, I promise.

As a first time mom & a stay at home mom I really needed to hear this today. The last 9 months of motherhood have been extremely exhausting and incredibly rewarding all wrapped up together like the perfect gift it is!

Hearing moms & even the to be moms complain excessively about the annoyance of pregnancy breaks my heart because there is plenty of women out there who would do anything to be in their shoes.

So for all moms going through the rough patches like me, you got this! One day (or one meal) at a time! You are all beautiful, incredible, marvelous, and doing the best you can!

Stay at home Mama of two here!! Oh my precious little boys! Amanda you're so right! The day to day can be challenging with little people but it's beautiful and I wouldn't change it for the world!!! Happy Mother's Day to you too Amanda, and all the mamas out there!

I'm a mom to a beautiful 10 week old boy and I can already relate so much to everything you said! You're truly great, thanks for sharing your wisdom with us. Much love!

Ugh- I just love your channel so much! I'm 32 as well, and you just "vlogged" exactly what I imagine myself saying if I were to create videos. Thank you so much for this- I never knew how much motherhood would change me and help me grow. My kid is also 2 years old (2 in April) and really needed to hear someone else say this. Happy Mothers Day to you too  :)  Thanks for the videos

completely agree with not knowing your path in life till you had kids. I have 2 kids and I have found my calling in life. You continue to be an inspiration and I love that you always keep it real. Keep up the great work.

I loved this video. I have a hard time hearing mothers complain about such small, everyday things. Motherhood is a blessing!

I feel so related to you. I turned 32 this year. Have a 2 year old. Had a c-section delivery. Extended breastfeeding mom. I love watching your videos and happy that your channel has grown in all ways. Happy Moms day Amanda. Keep it real as you always do :)

happy mothers day! you are an awesome mom and I love to watch your videos because you tend to remind me of exactly what you said, kids are just kids. your parenting style is so relaxed it seems like, and I want to be the same way! times can get frustrating but the good ALWAYS outweighs the bad moments when it comes to our kids.

We need more of this mom power in the world 💪🏼. And you're right, who gives a sh*t what style you have or if you are a sahm or a working mom or what the hell else. Just celebrate motherhood! Why this video made me cry, I'm not sure. Might be the 29 week pregnant factor but nonetheless lol, great tribute and Happy early Mother's Day! 💐

As always you communicate so eloquently. Such a sweet video with a beautiful sentiment. I've found that some days I have to literally write down the positives & the tough spots from our day. Then I share the positives with my kids. Somedays are tough & emotions run on over drive so it's nice to take a step back & realize there is something nice to take from each day.

Great video... What i like to remind myself when im feeling frustrated or tired etc is this too shall pass -the tantrum phase, picky eater phase etc all those hard moments they will pass and they do pass quite quickly from what we hear from moms who have older children...we should take a moment and cherish them when they are this little bc it goes so quickly!
