I am working on moving away from beginners method and I practicing doing f2l intuitively and trying to avoid any cube rotations at the same time. At 12:11, a better alg would be (from that position) U2 S (sexy sledge) with a wide F' at the end. It is regripless, and it is easier to look ahead.
