I'm saddened by this situation. The MS society does valuable work. They help so many people. That said, I will NEVER give them a penny. Apology NOT accepted. In my opinion, they only apologized when the public backlash affected their donations. Too little, too late.

Some people believe that the world was created on the day they were born. This 90 year old woman remembers the Great Depression, Word War II, Nazi death camps, the Cold War, the assassination of JFK, and a million other world changing events. The transgender movement started the day before yesterday and frankly pales in comparison and she doesn’t need to bother with it.

I want to say that Fran should have told them to "pound sand", but I realize that Fran, unlike the others at the organization, was interested in actually helping those who suffer from MS. Too many organizations have forgotten their basic mission and have made DEI "the mission".
Airlines no longer feel that flying people from one place to the other is their mission, restaurants no longer see serving food to the hungry as their mission and manufacturers no longer feel that producing products is their mission. Everything and everyone just seems to exist in service to DEI. Soon, nothing will be accomplished and no goods will produced, but everyone will be included in the lack of accomplishment. Can't imagine why this sounds insane.
